My name is Alastair Bocker. When people ask me how do I manage to create the magic in my dance photography. I laugh, because I do not know that myself. I just take the camera in my hands and it happens. I think the secret is that we always maintain a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Often we end up simply having a good laugh.

The thing that I love most about dance photography is the technical aspect of it. I love capturing the movement of the dance and creating an enchanting drama with the help of the light. Finally, the most rewarding feeling is when I see the dancers reactions after they see the final version of the pictures!
